Bequi Alvarado stops by her neighbor’s house to check out the home gym equipment he’s selling. Newly married and no longer able to keep the gear, he’s ready to get rid of the whole collection: chest machine, ab trainer, treadmill, bar and dumbbells. Bequi, who prefers to train at home while looking after her husband, is immediately interested and asks him to show her some routines. What starts as a simple explanation of how the equipment works quickly becomes more personal. As he teaches her the correct technique with the dumbbells and encourages her to go deeper on the squats, the atmosphere changes. The joking comments turn into an open invitation, and the two decide to do a bit of cardio together. In exchange for the training session, he offers her the entire home gym for free. The demonstration goes beyond the usual exercises. Bequi explores new positions and techniques under his hands-on instruction, discovering a much more intense and satisfying way to train. At the end of the session both are completely exhausted, and Bequi leaves with a lot more than just new gym machines.
